There are 11 tracks that are not rehashed though 11>4. And you are the one that's finding Gaga's tiny mistakes even there's a lot of great things to be proud of and to be happy with.
By my count, there are 6/7 good songs on AP. That's less than a half. I can't keep stanning for these poor ratios.
And on top of that we got this self-deprecating, self-victimising, martyr attitude despite all her attempts to say that 'she doesn't care what people think of her' and in general just a messy ass era
Anyone who says this should be required to post a picture of themselves, 'cause odds are Gaga weighs less than everyone who is saying she needs to lose weight.

She had so long, and instead gave us a record of rehashed beats and first-draft lyrics.
Ugh, this is the final straw. If she does not deliver with this next album my stan card's doing a Lina
That awkward moment when 90% of the record is "original beats".

Don't bring up logic. Technically there are only 2 songs on the album that are beats that were already made, and she even said this before the album came out. Every other track on the album is original.
But hey, isn't this what you guys wanted? You wanted her to work with new people. You wanted her to give up control. You wanted her to do it the way other popstars do it. I guess now that she did everything you asked you no longer want her to do that...

But that's basically the ratio for all of her albums. The Fame's only good songs are the singles. TFM was only 8 tracks so it doesn't count. Born This Way only has about 6 good songs.
I guess ARTPOP is different, though. 6 good songs isn't enough.
The principle isn't stealing. The fact is she's being lazy with these pre-made beats and there is nothing organic or original on the record.
Ugh, just watching these interviews from TFM era reminding me how great she used to be. idk if Taylor's size 'in the bedroom being more than enough' is blowing her brains out or whether the mary jane holland is numbing her brain or something else is going on. It's like stanning for someone totally different.
How is it stealing, the producer will have played her the beat and she'll have written over it, , she did it with Just Dance, Government Hooker, probably other songs that she hasn't really talked about in depth. She won't have known the production was used by another artist otherwise she wouldn't have used it
Songs I could do without on The Fame: Disco Heaven, Again Again = 13%
Songs I could do without on The Fame Monster = 0%
Songs I could do without on Born This Way: Judas, Bad Kids, Highway Unicorn = 21%
Songs I could do without on ARTPOP: 53%

In a way I agree, in a way I don't. Plenty of artists use pre-made beats and turn them into new songs. For example, Rihanna's Drunk In Love, Red Lipstick, We Found Love, there was a Katy interview a while back that described how she and Bonnie McKee would write over a track Dr Luke sent them and Sia said that she's written many songs that started out as her mumbling over a track that got sent to her.
The part where I agree is that "she being lazy". She's perfectly capable of creating something from the ground up and her laying her vocals on a ready-to-wear instrumental just seems... eh.

I just said that it's not about stealing. I'm annoyed that she's just stumbling into the studio with a bottle of whiskey and singing over these pre-meditated songs with these dumb ass lyrics she pulls out the rats' arses in Joe's restaurant. I still like MJH, I just think this is a damning reflection on her current creative process.
"Work with new producers," fans said. Little did they know that new producers meant not having as much control over what happens in the long run. New producers cannot commit to traveling around the world with her like DJWS can. Fans always wanna complain but never want to take responsibility for the **** they want Gaga to do. They tell her to do something, she does it, they still complain. It's like a never-ending pathetic cycle of children who just want to complain about things because they can no longer brag that mommy is #1.
Anyways, on to good news... It looks as if Gaga will make the Forbes Celebrity 100 this year since they didn't mention her as a "drop off" here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/dorothyp..._medium=social But I could be jumping the gun. I guess we'll see.
Songs I could do without on The Fame = Eh Eh
Songs I could do without on The Fame Monster = So Happy I Could Die
Songs I could do without on Born This Way = does not exist
Songs I could do without on ARTPOP = Jewels'n'Drugs, MANiCURE, Donatella, Fashion, Mary Jane Holland
It's like a never-ending pathetic cycle of children who just want to complain about things because they can no longer brag that mommy is #1.
How very dare you. No, how dare you. How dare you insinuate that I'd stan for something as pedestrian as #1 hits or good album sells. If I wanted that I'd be in the Katy/Rihanna Base right now as Little Miss Wheels has already patronisingly suggested thanks to Gaga being a mess this era. If I wanted that then I wouldn't be a massive fan of Kanye and Frank Ocean.
The fact that I'm still here is down to my small glimmer of hope that she may actually make a really great album again one day. I can't help but be frustrated that, like, one of the most fascinating pop artists I've ever witnessed has become a perpetually drunk auntie spouting nonsense all the time. I've been stanning since day #1, and I didn't leap ships when she practically destroyed her career with BTW because the album was good.
She could open with -56 copies and I'd stan if the material were good. With ARTPOP, we have neither, and I have every right to be sticking around in here venting my frustration thank you.

Agreed.
If we wanted #1s we wouldn't be in this fanbase.
It's just that ARTPOP had lots of filler that's below Gaga's talent. She's better than that.
Some of you are so over the top with your comments. Lady Gaga is a pop star, let her be whatever she wants to be or better let her do whatever she wants to do.

Didn't Zedd open for her BTWball in Asia? So he did tour for her but it was short and I know what you mean. Maybe she should work on an album AFTER a tour but I guess she just feels so creative at that point.

I agree with this though (except #1s). But you also can not deny that she did lots of things wrong. Most of all the DWUW mess (I mean her not wanting to really promote it)

Anyway I don't know if this was posted before but that's actually good:
