Looking back at old interviews/performances, I can now understand the hate.

Honestly, I understand why some people may not have taken her seriously at this time. Her rapping style in 09 was kinda wack and childish.
I think people loved it most due to it being so different from what we got from not only female rappers, but rappers period. She brought playfulness & bars at the same time.

Yea I feel like her being animated served its purpose. Even though some people didn't like it, it still got her noticed & set her apart from other female rappers.
The hate for her. I'm watching these performances, and it's like a totally different artist. Her looks, her attitude, etc. Everything was just so ugh.
Strangely enough, I feel the opposite. I feel that a lot of people loved her back in 08 - 09. I think the hate was at an all-time high during the RR era.
