I can't at this poll, Taylor losing? Not right at all.
What talent does Rihanna have?
"Unique Voice" - Well she sounds like a nasally dying goat that was just hit by a bus clinging to it's last breath of air.
"Good Ear" - Cool she picks other talented song writers/producers to craft her songs. That's why there's literally no connection to any of the songs she sings because you can't help but feel she recorded it behind a mic bored just to make her label happy.
We can't discuss song-writing because Rihanna needs eleven other song writers when she actually decides to write a song, and most of the time the lyrics are her talking about her ***** or smoking it up repetitively.
There's a reason Taylor's a critical darling. Taylor is what Rihanna wishes she could be. Worldwide star without having to strip naked, emotional singer and the best song writer of this generation. It clearly isn't a competition and the critics agree.
You sound like an angry mess. Calm down just a bit. What if people think Rihanna's voice is better than Taylor's songwriting? What then?

The Lord is so undraggable, I can't at all this stale shade. Keep trying girls, we already established Rihanna has no talent and no redeeming qualities.
Well Rihanna can sing anything . Taylor on the other hand is just limited to Ballads and generic pop songs .
To me Rihanna is better artist than Taylor !! (Talent)
Having songwriters = not having talent? Is that what you're telling me?
Is this you insinuating that Taylor Swift is more talented than Whitney Houston, a legend who had the support of strong song writing camps?
Taylor would have never made it if she was a pop star 1st.
And that's what sets her part from her peers. Her music is not limited to a certain genre because she's first and foremost a songwriter, not a singer or a producer who's stuck to a certain sonic niche. She can give her lyrics any production she wants, whether its country-sounding, pop-sounding or rock-sounding. She had success in multiple genres due to the versatility of her lyrics and melodies.

Whitney's talent was singing though. Nor do Whitney's fans try to argue that her talent was having songs by her songwriters, because they didn't need to. Her outstanding vocal talent was talent enough

The difference is that Whitney had the vocal talent (technique and musicianship) to make up for her not writing or producing anything, which is something Rihanna, a technically average vocalist, doesn't have. She's average in the only thing she can do, which is sing, so there's not really much to brag about when discussing her talent(s).
Sigh, here goes the Whitney comparison the Navy clings to like the situation is even remotely similar. Like goodbye Whitney was dubbed the Voice for a reason. No one cared she didn't write all of her hits because she was a vocal powerhouse. Something Rihanna is not and will NEVER be. Just give it up. She had a redeeming quality about her. What's Rih's?
