Read the sentence till the end I said it's a commerically-oriented talent, not a musical one. Plus, this is not something to brag about. She basically knows what people are gonna bop to and makes it, regardless of the quality of what the GP wants to listen to. Sometimes people are interested in piano ballads, so she makes one. Sometimes people wants some dance-pop stuff, so she makes one. She is directed by the GP's tastes, not her own artistic directions because she lacks an artistic identity.

I wouldn't really count that as a talent. Lol. It's not like the artists are personally producing the track and writing the lyrics to the music. It's usually the label's job to do that. Unless you are an independent artist.

Taylor is a writer and producer. Her lyrics are pretty good and she can play several instruments. Terrible singer though.

Nope. Your fave is a singer. My fave is a singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist. When you compare the two artists, you take all of their talents into consideration, not pick whatever that suits your fave.
