My family tells me that they pee all over and make apartments smell
I've owned cats my entire 22 years of life and I can assure you not once have any of them gone to the bathroom anywhere they weren't supposed to. Maybe I just got lucky but I've never had problems with my cats peeing anywhere other then the litter box.

Actually it's happened once for me. I had 2 male cats who lived together for years and one died so the other one just went crazy and pissed and pooped everywhere . We got rid of him after 3 weeks
It's not difficult to train cats. It's instinctual for them to use a litter box, you don't have to train them to do it. Just plop them down in it and they'll go to the bathroom and that's it. Cats are smart, they know what to do. That's why I like cats, they're easy to live with.

I trained my dog with Youtube videos.
He can do the basic commands.

I have 2 cats and 4 kittens. I'm really scared because we live out in the country and there are other animals out here that pose a threat to the kittens. The larger cats have proven themselves to be fighters though.
