It really is very pop-y. It's a bit weird but I see it growing on me massively. I pretty much love all the songs just hearing her sing straightforward pop is a bit jarring.

Finished listening to the album last night.
This is my favorite album since Ceremonials was released, and that means a lot cause I still listen to Ceremonials as if it came out a week ago.
OMG I am loving Hostage and Fire Meet Gasoline though. They had better be singles.

it's not just about "good diction" - the words she sings are indecipherable most of the album. that is not ok and looks unprofessional on her part

I think it's kind of her signature. It's part of what SIA is. It makes her songs unique, dark and kind of mysterious. So it's definetely not unprofessional, she has a lot of albums already, and the critics loved every single one of them, and with this one, things will be even better for her.
