I've never got the whole thing with Disturbia supposedly influencing Gaga. For one, it was an anomalous look with the otherwise grounded GGGB era, which was a given anyway since the song was called Disturbia.
It's different to the Rated R era where Rih flat out tried to be edgy, and dark etc. the whole time which largely backfired before Rude Boy.
