I was in the house for Bey and Jay's first show last night and I had a fantastic time. I'm so happy that I got to go to the first show. Not knowing what was on the setlist and and what she was going to do made the concert SO exciting. With Mrs Carter Show I had a great time but the fact that I knew exactly what was going to happen took away from the excitement a little bit.
One thing I definitely recommend to everyone going is arrive at the Stadium like two hours early. The concert didn't start till 9:30 because traffic was horrendous outside and it took people forever to get their seats. I don't think people fully grasped that isn't a 15,000 seated arena but rather 45,000+ people were going to be there and it was going to take a while for everything to come together lol. That being said, I was a in a suite and had a pretty good view of the stadium and I can honestly say that it looked VERY full and probably was sold out.
The opening numbers, Bonnie In Cylde/Upgrade U/Crazy In Love/Show Me What You Got was flawless! they work together so well and the energy was so high. I was surprised by the crowd reaction to Upgrade U. Everyone went nuts! Bey killed it. Crazy In Love was also awesome. She did the "YOUR LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE" part that she's been doing in selective performances since the Superbowl that I love. Also the original choreo is back! (I know some people hated the new one)
Niqqas in Paris was definitely a highlight! the crowd went crazy over it! Jay even sang a little bit of Kanye's part.
Run The World had slightly different choreo which was nice and her outfit during Naughty Girl...OMG!!
They did a mash up of Clique and Diva which was awesome! Bey killed it and even did some new choreo.
Flawless is so amazing live. The whole crowd was singing "I woke up like dis!!" it was great.
Going to the first show allowed me to experience some of the surprises on the setlist first hand, which included Ring the Alarm, Ex Factor and Resentment. Ring the Alarm being the biggest shocker of the night. Not only for it being back but the fact that it slayed as hard as it did and had all that choreo. She did a dance breakdown of the reggae classic "Ring the Alarm" that she performed at the Beyonce Experience with Baby Boy and then did some of the original military-esque choreo which had some different elements
Ex Factor followed after If I Were A Boy and I'm happy it's back, and I cant wait to see her grow with it throughout the duration of the tour
As most of the stans know, I was devestated when she axed Resentment from the Mrs Carter Show lol with that being said I of course was thrilled that it made a comeback!! and to see her sing in a wedding outfit made it even more heartbreaking lol.
Bey sounds fantastic singing Holy Grail
First performance of Pretty Hurts was great.
Love On Top gave me life! Pre-record and all! I loved the Jackson 5 mash up.
The finale (Part II/Halo/Young Forever) was beautiful. The stadium lit up during Young Forever which was gorgeous. They showed a lot of personal footage, including some of their wedding!! And a lot of footage of Blue.
I'm still on cloud 9 that I got to see two (completely different) Beyonce concerts in one year! This concert was amazing from beginning and end. The concert felt very long, which is good, Even though Jay-Z had a lot of numbers as a Beyonce fan I still felt like it was a full Beyonce concert (Even if that may not be the case) The energy was insane and both Jay-Z and Beyonce really know how to love their audience. Definitely money well spent and I wish I could go again!
Last night was PERFECTION. Bey singing Holy Grail, Jay rapping an intro to Partition, I don't even know. I WANT TO GO AGAIN Although Jay saying to the crowd "where my sexy ladies at!" I know Bey got him good for that one
Can bey0nce link the songs which we have videos for in the 'setlist' section like hyperlink them to youtube, then we all know what we haven't got videos for yet, if that makes sense ? lol
Thanks bae. I'm bopping to this.
I need to learn some of these Jay Z verses
And Upgrade U is the only Bey song that I don't know the lyrics of. It's so overrated

OMG you survived
Glad you had fun

I was there last night. It was hot as hell. The whole place smelled like weed. Even Jay Z mentioned something about smokers being in the house. But then again, this was my first "hip hop" concert and I'm sure they're all like this.
Besides that, Beyonce is such a force to be reckon with. Whenever she dances she becomes sorta possessed. She's really that into the music and her performance. I've been to many concerts and I've never seen anyone perform that way. But that's a good thing because that's what I want when I pay $400.
The show itself was fantastic. As previously mentioned, they both transitioned from one song to another very smoothly. I loved the lights, the lasers, the fire, the imagery. It was very well done.
I wouldn't call myself a Bey stan but she won me over last night and I would definitely pay more next time to see her more upclose.
"What you screaming for, bitch?!" oh my. i love it

how do i go about switching my seats for better ones and just paying the difference? do i call that 800 ticketmaster #? cause I did and got a robot
one of the most dramatic moments comes halfway through, when Beyoncé goes into "Why Don't You Love Me," acting out a painful evening of leaving 13 angry messages, all "Where are you? You know I can't sleep without hearing your voice," and "Nothing's open at 3 in the morning but legs." During the track, she took giant breaks of silence to just stare vehemently into the crowd, her hair blowing in fake wind. It was probably one of the rawest things we've ever seen at a stadium show.
