Taylor Swift on BBC Radio 1

Taylor Swift was live from the UK this morning visiting one of the biggest music stations in the country, BBC Radio 1. Swift arrived this morning in a beautiful dress designed by Gucci, along with a pair of heels that we've yet to identify a designer with. The American songtress looked stunning as she came in the studio greeting everyone she could, smiling constantly, and just showcasing her infamous charm that has made her one of America's greatest national treasures.

The last time Taylor Swift was at BBC Radio 1 was for the release of her last and sixth studio album, 'Coven 13'. The title went on to sell 450,000 copies it's first week and landed it at the top spot sulmitaneously with her single 'Swarovski' which spent it's third week at number one at the time. Swift then repeated the feat, 'C13' being #1 for a second week as Swift scored her fourth number one 'Born Into Sin' on the singles chart. Swift became one of the few artists to accomplish the feat along with being the first artist to top the singles charts for an entire four weeks or month. Her single 'Swarovski' became the longest reigning single in history as well, making her the best selling female artist in history.

In her interview, Taylor spoke of her upcoming record, which everyone in the room could tell she was excited about (it seemed as if Swift was dying to tell us everything about the record but her manager was of course on the scene to make her aware that any leaked information would result in some anger from her label). Taylor did spill some information on her next single along with some other things. 'Psycho' was played shortly after Swift talked about the single.

Below are the highlights from the interview

Coven 13 was released not so long ago. We hear you've already recorded an entirely new album?
I'm always recording and writing but it's really weird for me to have recorded an entire new album in the time span I did, I admit. But yeah I wrote a new record, let me reprhase that, I wrote some new material.

People have been going crazy wondering what the sound of the album is gonna be, who's gonna be on it, when they can expect the lead or second single from it. What can you tell us?
I can tell you that the material is my best work to date. It's kind of a bit grunge and more indie than you'd expect from me. I think people will be a little taken aback with the sound of it but it still remains true to what I did with Coven 13. And for the singles, I guess my label is calling 'Psycho' the lead single from it? Not sure but the next single was actually written by me and Charli XCX, who's also on it.

How was it working with Charli?
It was really really amazing, actually. I'm kind of bummed we got in the studio right at the end of the time I had to finish it up because we worked so well together. I remember I met her at some event, I can't remember which one, but we exchanged numbers and I kind of forgot all about it until the last month of recording, where I called her. The next day we were in the studio with Ariel Rechtshaid writing and producing the song in one night. It was really really quick. When her, I, and of course Ariel are in the studio, we get songs out like that (snaps)The song is crazy sick and we really created an amazing record that people won't really be expecting.

Is there any songs of hers that sound similar to it, maybe?
Stay Away probably comes closest. Meaning and sound wise being taken in consideration.

"Psycho" with Paige is your latest release. What do you have to say about it?
"Psycho" is definitely what I think will be one of the most remembered songs of my career. I'm not talking success wise but I think quality wise it's among my best. It's a personal milestone for me because we (Paige and I) really captured the feeling of how it feels to be in a toxic relationship with the song. I think that's kind of why Paige is such a great actress. She can really get into a part on screen and in a song. The song is just really different and it's kind of eerie.

Coke Sweetheart Taylor Swift

Continuing her now three year endorsement with Diet Coke, Coke Sweetheart Taylor Swift has filmed and shot entirely new footage and photos of advertisments for the company that have already hit the airwaves on televison. Promo pics of Tayor promoting it along with her single "Psycho" have been popping up all on websites like pimples on ex Harry Style's forehead. One advertisment released to television showed Swift leaving a nightclub, her hair styled perfectly as she wore a black leather dress with some heels, holding a diet coke as she walked towards the camera as Psycho blared from inside the coke. She stopped infront of the camera and looked seductively at it before she took a sip from the soda and smirked. Soon after the club went into total darkess and Swift disappeared. The commercial confused many but many assumed that the club went into total darkness so that Swift, who played a serial killer, could slaughter them all.

Rising Star saw Kesha not only take place in the panel of music experts, along with Ludacris and Brad Praisley, but also perform her brand new single 'Beautiful Mess' live.

Kesha gave the acts good constructive criticism and gave off a great vibe. She was likeable, sassy and she looked absolutely stunning

Kelly Clarkson Covers Rolling Music Magazine

Kelly Clarkson who dropped her sizzling new single, “You Don’t Need Me” has taken the time to sit down for an interview with Rolling Music Magazine’s Jasmine Michaels.

Jasmine: Kelly, we couldn’t be more thrilled than to have a legendary voice like yours visiting us.

Kelly: Thanks, Jasmine. I am just thankful you guys were so open to talking with me.

Jasmine: So what was it like giving birth to a new rock star?

Kelly: Well, she’s under a month old and she already commands a new label. So, I guess it is pretty exciting. I’m really thrilled to be working with my daughter. We’re talking about signing Reba McEntire to the label too. She’s in final talks with River Rose.

Jasmine: So, this is going to be a family affair?

Kelly: That’s the way I see it. River Rose is so smart. Really, I haven’t met a smarter child in the industry.

Jasmine: She certainly is very well versed. Now, the Taco Bell promotion has become huge. Your face is literally everywhere thanks to their Billboards, Television spots. Are you worried about the album not living up to the hype the single is getting?

Kelly: I’m optimistic it will work out. Taco Bell has been shelling out millions of dollars in advertising for me and the Stronger taco is really a great tie in for a single.

Jasmine: Let’s talk about your album, if we can for a moment.

Kelly: I can’t give out much info, but sure.

Jasmine: Are there any songs that really stand out?

Kelly: I like all 15 songs. I did a duet with my mother in law, River Rose’s grandmother Reba McEntire. It’s called, Whisper My Name. It’s probably going to be very controversial. [laughs] but the lyrics were incredible. Really, I had a blast recording it with her.

Jasmine: Any word on the album title?

Kelly: It’s going to be blow minds when I announce it. But I can’t just yet. But I will announce it on Twitter soon!

Jasmine: Thanks for visiting Kelly. You are truly an American Idol.

Kylie Minogue arrived at the UK today and the first stop she made was at Alan Carr: Chatty Man TV show.
The "Circles" singer talked about her new album, saying "This record, the direction I'm taking is different. I'm really scared to see the reaction for it because I personally think that nothing like it is there right now which is nerve-racking, but I'm still very confident with the material and I think it may be my best work so far! I've worked amazing artist so far, Alesso, Sebastian Ignrosso, Max Martin, Loreen, Tove Lo and the list goes on."
She also talked about her new fragrance 'Free', "It's feminine, sweet, sensual yet innocent. I'm really excited for people to enjoy it."



Kylie also showed Alan some sexy moves on how to maintain that body in a very fun way, Alan and the crowd seemed to enjoy the segment a lot.
"I've teamed up with Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about my new album Distant Days, the campaign is really exciting and it involves the fans!" Kylie has said about her new partnership with social networks Facebook and Twitter.

Teen rapper Becky G stopped by the Ellen show today to perform her latest hit 'Shower'. Becky wore a loose fitting black tank top with the words 'The Illest" on it, along with short jean shorts, and purple Air Jordans. The audience sang along to the whole song, proving that it is a hit!

After the performance Becky talked to Ellen for a short interview:

Ellen: Becky! How has it been for you lately? This song is really starting to take off isn't it? I mean the audience loves it! *audience cheers*
Becky: Haha thank you. It's such a blessing that all this hard work is finally paying off and people are starting to notice me.
