Many of the contestants here are also involved in ATRL Song Contest, and Blind and Supernatural not only were submitted for that game, but they also placed in the Top 3. So they've already been HEARD by many people. In addition, Animal has been out for 4 years, so everyone in this game would've had time to listen to the album. It sold over 2 million as far as I know, so I know damn well enough people have heard Blind and Animal.

I just don't think its fair to the other songs that we have songs like this, which were already shown to be popular with contestants in other games, score high in a theme like this - where its basically meant for us to submit songs that haven't been heard by anyone...or as many people.

Um this is the part where you tell people about what is considered to be a single and a non-single.

Either way how I see it, even if their isn't a clear rule about what is considered to be a single/non-single, Song J (which is going to be unchanged apparently) will not only receive the lowest ranking from me this round because it does not follow the non-single rule, whomever you are can predict my score for the song if it lands in the bottom 3.

Its a shame because in my original ranking, had the song been a non single, it would have been my #3 ranking.

Whomever this contestant whom submitted song J and if you miss the bottom 3/2 or whatever Please learn to follow the guidelines whether the act is independent or signed to a record label. The fact an artist has a record deal or not shouldn't be acceptable in my eyes to decide the song released as a single "by a youtube star" makes it a non-single.

I know my digging into my research was a bit...extra. In catching that one detail that this song link was to a music video, that tipped me off that this wasn't a non-single. I just kept investigating as you kept denying the fact that this was indeed a single. I usually am keen on getting very detailed (when I need to kii) and this was one of those cases. As seen here:

Just because the singer released it on her own does not, in my perspective, change the fact that the song you picked is a single.
If its for sale on itunes and it literally says ""song title" - Single on the itunes release.
No where in the current rules does it define that "one can only use signed artists" can be used in this competiton and if their not signed, their material can be used as a non-single.
