she still sold a considerable amount of albums due to a very strong teenager fanbase.

I don't think her state at the end of the britney era was as bad as gags state now but gags should learn from itzney for her next album: promote like crazy and make people remember why they fell in love of her. the advantage is that itz had big hits while I am not sure if gags can write another one

Well in her diffence her singles choices were more catering to USA. Boys and Slave 4 U were too urban for europe and I Love Rock n Roll was a cover of a cover song.

She still has a somewhat talent for writing a hitsong if she abandons the compulsive thinking of creating art with her music that's stuck at the back of her mind. All 3 singles of AP had potential but she ****ed it up. And other than Britney she shouldn't even start trying to be more experimental with her next era but instead go back to more laid-back, disco-influenced pop such as Fashion! and she could easily semi-smash again.

I like what I like! Katy's music is good for what it is--catchy pop songs.

And the last part is hardly a concern.
