R.Kelly is not the problem but he's well known in the U.S AND well known for his scandal with an underage female. Not sure about WW but he definitely has some quite iconic songs in his discography.

I agree, people tend to over exaggerate things on pop forums because for the most part it's what we see day in and day out. I know a few people who were disgusted with him I.E My mother but she LOVES the song and she's grown to get over the fact that she worked with a man who did something quite disgusting. It's always the same crap on here anyway.
I will say though that I hope Gaga never pushes the boundaries too far that she herself cannot recover from said backlash. This definitely isn't one of those moments, but I don't want her to play with the biting dog and have her whole hand bitten off either
