I remember loving Chasing Pavements. Maybe she gained a lot of casual fans who didn't bother buying her previous effort? Tbh I have no memory of when Rolling In The Deep blew up or what her promo schedule was like.
I just think that in this music climate nothing is guaranteed. First week sales aren't the end-all be-all. I think she'll sell a lot in the long-run but opening with crazy numbers is up for debate
What you mean "Beyoncé wishes?" Why would she wish to turn into a mentally challenged/deranged meth addict under a conservatorship at 32, without full custody of her kids, multiple divorces under her belt, and no basic human rights? Not to mention, untalented and not respected in the industry?

No. People on here actually believe her entire audience is old middle aged mothers, when she actually holds digital records, has a massive social media following (despite barely using it), etc.

They're only compared because they're both young, British and sing about love. Sam isn't taken as seriously as Adele by critics.
I feel like they will praise him with his sophomore album if it's even half as good as his current one and ITLH proves to be successful in the long run. 19 only got a 68 on MC.
