I think being a female in the public spotlight, not even just the music industry, whenever you’re pictured with a boy or there’s talk of you being with a boy it instantly means you’ve been with them romantically if not sexually. That’s the biggest misconception with Taylor. She’s a good girl, in every sense. She’s great - I’d say 0.01 per cent of the stories written about her are actually true.
"Whereas she's won so many there's one chilling in the toilet on a little ledge, there's one in the kitchen and there's one in the living room. There's Grammys scattered everywhere."
I know toilet = bathroom, but can we just pretend for a second THAT SHE HAS A GRAMMY SITTING ON THE LEDGE OF HER TOILET?
"“Writing with Taylor was very different actually to any sort of writing I’ve done before. First off I came to her with an idea and we finished the song. And then second time she came to me with pretty much almost a full song written and we were just like “yeah..let’s do this”. Writing with another singer-songwriter who has had success can always be quite a difficult thing because even though they can be no ego in personal life when it comes to music you’re like “this is right”, “this is what I want to do”. But then if you have someone else saying “this is right”, “this is what I want to do” you kinda have this clash but then you get the best out of it cuz eventually someone is gonna agree with the other person and then you get this song. So we disagreed a lot on the Everything Has Changed song and you know she got her way on one bit and I got my way on one bit and it just made this great tune, it’s good.”
