TD was a huge era. Just because the album sells were a biT low doesn't discredit that single success. It easy to write it off as "singles artist", but some of those songs will go on to be played for years to come.
Not everything can be traced back or related to numbers, as in the same way we still consider P!nk a non-factor despite TTAL era being huge.

It was big -- 2nd only to 21 is pushing it tho.
I think TD probably stands the best chance of living on out of those singles.
Hopefully history leaves Firework behind for the abomination of desolation it is.
