UGH. I'm playing but I am getting so bored tbh. What should I do? I take so much time remodeling the premade Sims and make them look real good and then just.. bluh. I think I've become too addicted to cheats tbh, maxmotives and boolprop have ruined me.

Cheats and CC ruined TS3 for me You should make a sim woohoo with everyone in town without anyone knowing

A huge part of it is not having an unlimited wardrobe. Is there a cheat for this in The Sims 2?

Aspiration Changes: A Sims’ aspiration can be changed at any time!
Moving Sims: You can now move your Sim over to a new world without having to start everything over.
Five Districts: According to an Italian article, the city will be divided into five districts, broken down by purpose and function. Population centers are interspersed with commercial spaces and environments designed for social interactions between Sims.

Foodie Trait Example: “So let’s say I had a Sim who was a foodie; he really enjoyed the finer types of food in life. Instead of pursuing normal cooking, maybe he becomes a gourmet chef. And that unlocks a lot of different new recipes. And he can even find unique interactions on objects. Like, going on a computer and looking up gourmet recipes online. So all that plays out in different ways in game.”
Socialization Features: The player is alerted when a conversation between two Sims is pleasant, awkward or sour. The game has options to try to change the course of conversation if it’s going downhill.
Careers and Unlockables: New careers have been added with more branching paths, unlocking items as you advance. Astronauts can unlock high-tech desks or broken satellites to use in their home.
Smarter Sims: Sims remember interactions. If you chat a Sim up at the bar, the next day he could stop by your house to continue what you started.
Grilled Food: Sims can whip up corn on the cob or grilled chicken!
Exercise Options: Sims can do push-ups, sit-ups, and even stretch!
Angry Interactions: Chew Out, Rant and Rave and Provoke are options for angry Sims.
Returning Sims: Don Lothario, The Caliente sisters, and The Goths!
New Homes: You can choose both furnished and unfurnished homes to play in the neighborhood.
Maternity Wear: All clothes in CAS are enabled for pregnancy! A pregnant Sim can now wear anything!
Auto-Save: TS4 will finally have an Auto-Save feature!

I like sims 3, but despite having better graphics and features...I got bored with it quickly compared to sims 2.

It's cool that every outfit is available for maternity. Y'all know some of those maternity clothes in TS2 and 3 were tragic.

You know, I didn't even have a bad thought about the game until I saw all y'all Debbie downers pointing out all the bad things about it. I bet that the game really won't be as bad as you all think it will be. I bet this is how most people were thinking before sims 3/2/1 came out. A few months after the game comes out y'all will be playing it without a care, bookmark me.
