The difference between this and Bad Romance is about 100x better taste.
Bad Romance may have had a message but it also had a lot of art in it. This is just shock-value bad taste. Aside from the horrible cliché of using tabloid imagery and fake plastic surgeries as a statement, what can really be said about this video (from what we've seen?). It's ARTless. Bad Romance is so much more ARTPOP than this ever will be.
We are talking about the woman who did a real S&M photoshoot with ropes and chains in Japan, right? The woman who covered Q Magazine with spiked trousers and an adult toy in her knickers, right? Gaga is very sexual. No surprises here.
I'm confused, does rape only classify as rape if the guy gets convicted in America? Because that's ridiculous. Rape is rape and the emotional scars stay with the victim regardless of which way a court/justice system votes.
The way some members in here are denying the rape imagery in this video, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't consider it rape.
U are just trying TOO much. As Jay effortlessly and already clocked you Gaga has always been using explicit, graphic and fetish sexual imagery. There is no rape scene in what we saw, unless you consider nurses dancing on top of you with lobsters an action of any kind of raping.
