The fact that she ended it's era with Christina Aguilera, someone who is arguable a victim of rape culture(the way she was sexualised from her debut is really ****ed up), was a way to turn the tables and show that she could empower herself and other women.
The entire song is telling a really cool narrative, I'm a big fan of that aspect of it. I think Perez just missed the point entirely.
