Q: It seemed like you wanted to go PB R&B (Electronica, Rock, Hiphop, R&B combined) looking at songs like "Love You To Death" but why didn't you?
A: The approach YG was taking was completely different from mine. I figured this type of music will be the next big thing but my company thought the general public wouldn't be able to handle it because it's too deep and unfamiliar.
There goes the "YG lets you do whatever you want" bull that YG stans always talk about.
It's so upsetting too. Taeyang could have released Eyes, Nose, Lips and put whatever else he wanted on his album. His fans would have bought it either way.

S/S means Spring/Summer. Nona9on doesn't drop until September.

Mother of god what the hell was he thinking. Taeyang isn't even a sales powerhouse, let him make a ****ing masterpiece for christ's sake. He was forced to produce the majority of the album the way YG wanted though, that's why it took so long to come out. I saw an interview with Tae about a year ago where he said the album was nearly finished and his face lit up when he talked about releasing it as soon as it was done.
YG screwed over his psyche in a matter of months.
