This is so true. Funny thing is I'm not one of those fans, I'm the first to admit when something is wrong, just like my post calling out the Kats slamming Katy's best song. Not everything Katy does is perfect, I wasn't sure about Birthday from the beginning and it was one of my least favourite upbeat tracks on the record but I really grew to like it a lot. This Is How We Do has been my favourite track since PRISM was released and it passed Roar's plays (over 200) within the first week of release. I've always been here for it. TIHWD is a SMART career decision, WOA is a stupid career decision, especially since it was already released and peaked at #34 (not very good for a promo single... look at Dope by Gaga or any of Red's promo singles).

Regardless, it's up to the GP, not the fans who think this will "ruin" Katy's single legacy or whatever (like this being released as a single will make literally no impact to her "legacy", good nor bad)... but when this smashes I just know there will be lots of people saying "oh wait I enjoy the song now " ... so predicable.

This is How We Do is much better single choice than Birthday was, I've been always saying that, and it will do just fine. I'm guessing Walking on Air will be 6th and finale single.
