Sad to say this, but I knew it would eventually come to an end. As Josh stated, since last year they've hinted at the cancellation of the show. They were going to replace it with YouRL but apparently it didn't test well with focus group audiences. I hope they really will bring it back better than ever...

Hopefully when it comes back they change the many flaws the current version of the show has and make it even bigger & better than B4.

Well, knowing that the TRL Hour of Uselessness shall now be replaced by truly needed replays of Parental Control, maybe MTV can think about what it actually wants to be?

I mean, FNMTV is at least playing whole videos on random occasions, why not bring more music programming to fill the spots where Season 4 of ANTM marathons aren't shown. Or show music videos from 5am EST-12pm EST, thereby returning to what it's supposedly about?

It is about time it gets cancelled, but the show was a huge part of my life back when the show started. The good days of TRL (1998-2003) were the best. It introduced me to many of my favorite bands today.

The way I read it, TRL was going to conclude in November. Doesn't that seem like it would continue to air until November? That's what I was thinking.

Besides, it would be weird if it stopped now...and then randomly had a 2 hour finale in the middle of November.

Wow so it's finally over. I'm glad they ended it, the countdown was horrible,boring ,and rigged. I remember the good old TRL days before this ridiculous format change and firings of the best VJ's and MTV correspondant. I think it's for the best that they finally did this. I will definately watch the finale just to see it one last time. R.I.P. TRL.

Last Thursday was the final regular daily TRL, but the official GRAND finale is in November.
