After listening to ULTRAVIOLENCE all week, I can say that I don't like it. This makes me sad because I love Lana and I loved all her songs until now.
I hope she doesn't work with Dan from The Black Keys again
Lana needs a producer that leaves her voice crystal clear, otherwise her vocals drown in noise once again. It fits perfectly to songs like The Other Woman but sucks esp. in that guitar part of Shades of Cool. It's been the same since BTD although she changend producers so it gets me into thinking she herself wants it that way. The only song her voice appears extremely clear and unedited at times is the Radio Mix of West Coast.
I also don't realise how good TFM is until I relisten to it. It's literal pop perfection and will become a classic. I really want Gaga to top it but she won't and there's no point expecting.
