What should she expand on? Taylor's going to write about her life experiences and why should she stop? Taylor was probably a millionaire by the time she reached 18 so the average person's life experiences are not going to be the same as hers. This time around she might write about her new friendships, sexism in the media, internet trolls...But I doubt some big political song about world issues, the economy , etc.
I read once where Will Smith said they considered his music (bubble-gum rap) they wanted him to put out music like the Gangsta rappers from LA who became very popular in the 90's he felt it would be disingenuous of him cause he didn't grow up in that environment.... Drive-by shootings, police brutality. He was just a middle-class kid from Philly.
