Imdb is nothing like wiki. Even Actors and directors check out the site for more info about their own films
It is an officialy recognized database by professionals. The cast info usually comes from production diaries and press kits. Ok most people updating the site are outside volunteers but they have to show real sources to back it up.
There's like 20 paid members of the IMDb staff who are dedicated to monitoring received data.
I remember this from the last season when Lysa Arryn and Robin Arryn were included in cast list for one episode but never appeared when the episode actually aired.
GRRM was right to want more episodes, though. How come Walking Dead gets 16 episodes and GOT only gets 10 even when the ratings are through the roof?
