LM logic: it's better to play one date and have 100% of attendance than play two and earn more as the demand is high. I hope they will attend some basic economics lesson someday.

It's funny, for years The California Dreams tour has been deemed unsuccessful by a certain fanbase because of it's "low" gross, even though the total attendance was at 98% But NOW, it's all about the attendance and not the gross
People saying artRave is more successful than The PRISMATIC World tour Give me a ****ing break, Katy slays RatGa in every single department and you will DEAL. Take a ****ing seat

The CDT had 98% attendance because tickets were dirt cheap and most of her European and some American venues were extremely small (4-10K capacities). The UK dates of PWT have both disappointing gross ($900K average in one of the biggest touring markets for one of the biggest superstars, if not THE biggest at the moment, is underwhelming) and attendance.
artRAVE is doing more than fine considering Gaga's current career status.

It looks like they are cutting down the total capacity to make Gaga's shows look sold out
Other artists sold more tickets at the same venues and it's not like Gaga's stage is big or anything.

I mean, I don't know exactly, but I assume playing two dates means substantially higher costs (renting the venue, production costs etc.) than playing one. The fact is the PWT is grossing in 2 dates what other big tours gross in one night in the same venues (BTWB in Manchester, one date, gross $1.8M; Mrs Carter Show in Manchester, five dates, average gross $1.7M --> PWT, two dates, gross: 1.8M), and that's not because of low tickets prices but because of underwhelming attendances (Gaga, Beyoncé, P!nk averaged 15-17K people per night in Manchester, Katy just 10,5K). That's odd because the rest of the tour (NA and Australia) seems to be doing extremely well.

That awful Unconditionally performance changed the way the GP sees ha there. I don't think many wanted to go to her show and experience that horror again after that.

If it wasn't bringing profits they wouldn't do that. They're not idiots...

both tours are under performing
Katy because she is in her peak and is struggling to sell out shows (bar Australia)
Gaga when you compare artrave to her previous tours
