When I went to see her live one of the friends who I went with who isn't a massive Taylor fan (but his girlfriend is who came with me since it was our idea, and we're friends too, but I don't think he wanted me going out with her by ourselves ) started laughing hysterically when Taylor did the All Too Well head-banging.
I'm not here for Digital-Pop. I want real guitars/instruments.
I mentioned like a week ago I had a dream before Red era was announced how I was looking through the next album booklet and everything was red.. This just reminded me of my dream from 2 nights ago where Lord accepted a Grammy for "best digital" album and I had no idea what that meant so I just laughed about it the next morning..
Best pop album for The Lord for LP5. Let's see if my dream is true
I'm listening to Red from start to finish right now
This is a state of grace
This is the worthwhile fight
Love is a ruthless game
Unless you play it good and right
These are the hands of fate
You're my Achilles heel
This is the golden age of something good and right and real
I'm just so anxious for lp5.. I'm honestly sad tho if she really does go full pop and transforms into a pop tart. It makes me sad i guess I'll just keep listening to the debut over and over again I miss my little country bumpkin and her accent
I'm really not worried about LP5, has Taylor ever let us down?
The thing is, even though it's looking like LP5 will be her most pop work to date - she will always have that special sound. Even WANEGBT had the "Taylor" sound. There's no way her label would alienate her fan base and release generic/recycled pop songs that have been done before.
Even her older stuff had pure pop songs (Sparks Fly), I think diversity is the key for LP5 - as she pulled it off so well on Red. She could have a couple pure pop songs (like 22), some more experimental stuff (IKYWT), some collabs, some mid-tempos, and then some ballads. I think if done properly Lp5 could be really amazing.
