J.Lo was actually never really a force in anything she did. She doesn't have an album that sold more than 4M in the US and 10M WW, or a film that's grossed over 200M WW.

But alas, she was a media staple and was fairly successful in most of the fields she's expanded into (at least at one point) so that yeah, that's probably the most commendable thing about her.

But it's not that impossible. For example Chris' metacritic scores have sucked since the Rihanna thing. Granted, people are entitled to their opinion but when majority of those conservative white critics are more pissed about/dont even think he should still be releasing albums, obviously they aren't going to give an objective view on something they dont even want to be reviewing in the first place.
