It's always the same thing when an artist gets dragged by critics.
Fans act as if they have a personal vendetta against such artists.
Why is it so hard to realize your fave releases ****** music?
Because sometimes there IS actually clear as day bias. Especially when reviews talk more about personal **** than the actual music
For some people its a reach but there are some artists that critics clearly arent here for regardless of what they put out.
Is that why the Jurassic Park, E.T., and Star Wars (each the highest grossing film ever in their time) soundtracks weren't anywhere close to being such mega-sellers despite each of those films having equally (if not more) iconic scores? How did Leona her Avatar sing do?
Titanic has an incredibly romantic soundtrack/music in general which also works outside the film's universe. Like who the hell would listen to The Imperial March in their free time? terrible comparison. yes the tragic song in question was a big selling point for the titanic soundtrack, but giving it that much credit is ridiculous

I would agree but some critics literally flat out say personal things about artist and use that to determine the quality of a album

I totally agree that sometimes one or another critic writes a biased review.
But I'm referring to sites such as Metacritic, which helps us get to a consensus.
Do Britney stans truly believe all 15 critics who gave BJ a mixed review were biased? Sadly, majority of them does.
