I tend to prefer Madonna over Gaga, but antagonising another fanbase countless times with the intent to get people angry is flamebait.

I would agree with you, had i said something antagonising. I posted a picture. Said that it's not the first time she's been inspired and then said something like Madonna's impact.

They get antagonised because it's me that says it and that's not my problem it's theirs.

Last night I commented in a gaga thread saying that she looked good. Does that mean I get a warning point for that because some fans might think i was using sarcasm? - No.

Warning points should be based on the merit of the comment, not what sensetive people read into that comment. - But that's not always the case and I can deal with that - I'd appreciate honesty tho.

No post exists in a vacuum. It would be hard for any mod to accurately judge a post on its own merits when things like context, intent, and history is put in the equation. I was the one who reported that thread in the first place because of my concern of things headed down that path. To be honest, I'd rather that Madonna not be brought up in Gaga topics and vice-versa outside of SYG because right now it's a toxic environment and discussion at this point in time. Perhaps, when Gaga and Madonna put aside their differences and collab, then we can trust people to be more mature about it.

EG. I was a fan of gaga's in the early days. - She could easily win me back should she do certain things?

EG. What if on one occasion I think she looks good, like I did last night?

That way of thinking actually progresses stan culture. Everything should be judged on it's merit.

It's a little difficult not to bring Madonna up in a thread about gaga and Madonna's underage daughter.

I'm sure it would be hard for Monsters not to bring up Gaga when threads are made that are slightly taunting her while the main topic is about Madonna, but they refrain from doing so for the most part. A good rule of thumb is to act like an adult even when others aren't. If they really are crossing a line, don't engage in warnable behaviour and just report them and let the mods take it from there.

Look, I really don't want to and I'm not trying to fight here, because I agree with your posts and analysis countless of times, but there's a time and a place to get messy. I think it would be a shame if you got banned when you didn't have to be, because nobody stands up for Madonna quite like you do here in ATRL and it's good to see someone promote and support her as much as you do.
