Did she not work for years and years, going through many 'characters' and pseudonyms, in order to get where she is now? It's pretty sad that after all that work and toil, she can't be content in her achievements.
This is sad if true. I love her music and I love her personality but she should not be doing what she hates and what makes her feel bad constantly without any redemption.
That being said, I kind of feel bad for it, but if those feelings are true that means she might never get caught up in the "married with kids and a nice husband, being happy, writing boring songs"-trap, if you know what I mean.
She might never be one of those songwriters who are brilliant and exciting when angry and sad but awful when being happy and satisfied.
I SO bet that the writer twisted her words. She loves her fans, although she probz gets annoyed by the messy gay ones But yeah, she is obviously so grateful for them.
MESS at people saying she "should be thankful/happy". That's not how depression works.
Lana doesn't want to be a pop star, she wants to be a respected songwriter/singer surrounded by a cozy artistic community. She's not here for the charts mess.

Slightly OT but its exactly this reason that I'm so worried for the next Adele album
she seems genuinely depressed now whereas she was very happy and cheerful during the BTD era (for the most part)
Although I think she does better now. I also think she's on meds.
its better that she told us than randomly have us wake up one day to find her dead lbr. i also think she is overexaggerating a bit. you can tell she has so much fun meeting fans which is why she does it constantly. i wouldnt like making music either though if it kept getting leaked
