I watched it a million times and I don't see how the last part was lipped tbh. She sang it on the Fearless on tour and hit a higher note and it was not lipped.
On the Fearless tour they never switched the mic out either tho so perhaps by then they had invested in a waterproof mic?
Yes it was, her vocals became 100% better in that part, and sounded just like the studio.
She doesn't even sing it that way on the studio version In the studio version, she doesn't even hit a D5. There's no, "You should've said NOOOOOOO (D5)". It's "You should've said no, you should. etc.". She doesn't extend it and belt on the studio version

I know that, but the "I can't resist, before you go tell me this..." sounds exactly like the studio. & It's not hard to record and edit in the "you should've said NOOOOOO you should've gone home..." part.
Does she really need a waterproof mic to sing under the waterfall? The normal mic can't handle a bit of water?
And anyway even if that performance was lipsynced, the one the Fearless tour definitely wasn't. It doesn't sound like the studio version. She doesn't even hit the "Should've said NOO" part the same way.

I agree the "I can't resist part" sounds exactly like the studio version, but why would she need to switch mics to sing under the waterfall when she was gonna lip sync anyway? She would only switch the mic into a waterproof one if she actually planned on turning on the mic and singing that part.

ACMs they didn't use a waterproof mic - they used a regular mic and then switched it out for what was probably a dummy mic so that the actual (expensive) microphone wouldn't get ruined.
Fearless Tour they probably used a waterproof mic for the full performance so there was no need to switch it out.

Yes they did switch the mic for the Fearless tour, you can hear on JTF the different voice although they did cut the moment when they change the mic.
I'm sure you can find a fan video where it's obvious.
