I can see now why she said she loved making the record.
It's very nice, her vocals are so on point and come off as very natural. And you can actually tell she loves the whole thing, the passion in every song The vulnerability and at the same time this sense of being above all is just amazing.
I love her so much. I love her, I love this album with all my heart and I'm going to support her as much as I can, I'm going to buy the digital and the vinyl. She deserves it.
It's crazy to read so many different opinions on it. I don't think I'll like it as much as BTD but I'm going in with no real expectations and we'll see. I think I'm going to end up enjoying it--especially after repeat listens, which usually always happens with me.
I'm afraid I won't love it though. And I really want to love it. I've already spent over $170 on the album so I better love it haha.
I also kind of want to wait until I have the album in my hands...and then listen to it again on the vinyl but I don't think I'm going to resist this leak.
Didn't Lana describe this album as "dark and unlistenable"? Its no darker than Prism to be honest.
Didn't Lana apparently feel the album was already finished until she met with Auerbach and changed her mind? Maybe she was talking about the "original" UV.
