I agree. Ultraviolence is a 7/10. Born To Die is a 9.5/10.
Born To Die was like listening to a girl who took me back in time to the 60's. She had that sultry, nostalgic voice. It was amazing.... she totally brought that era to life in her songs and videos.
However, I do like Ultraviolence because I hear a more "genuine" side of Lana. She sounds more real and non-pretentious in this new album. Born To Die I felt like she was emulating very hard on the 1960's chantreuse voice.
I like both albums for their differences, but yeah... BTD is definitely the winner.
