Yeah. She'd be losing a decent promotional avenue without maintaining a presence at the ACMs, CMAs, CMTs, etc. but I guess there's no point in promoting country material to audience who are too turned off by the pop material to give a **** how good the country material is. If She isn't giving country 100% of Her attention, the country industry will feel like they're second fiddle. I kinda think She's better off without them.

They'll only underperform if we set the expectations too high in the first place. It's a matter of perspective.
Rihanna will still get her obligatory smash hit and the usual hit follow-up single.
Funny how Taylor would be "underperforming" if She doesn't go 3-4x platinum when Beyoncé is the only other pop girl capable of going multiplatinum at all. Taylor will easily hit 2x platinum, which is better than most even if it's not Her usual standard.
And both will have massive tours.
