" sneered about my allegedly not authentic style but later she stole and copied it. "
I don't recall Lorde saying anything about Lana's style and she certainly hasn't copied it. Gaga has copied her style but I don't recall her saying Lana wasn't authentic. Who knows who she's talking about. It's probably all a figment of her imagination. These artists sell a few records and get sooo full of themselves. That's why I like Lorde, she was full of herself before selling anything LOL.
Basically.
But how did Gaga copy Lana's style? ARTPOP is an unrestrained, electronic cluster**** about the same topics she explored on her other albums. All of Lana's albums are dull, over-restrained (to the point of monotony), middle-of-the-road and repetitive sedatives with such topics as Americana, daddy issues and drugs explored with a stock word bank and superficial references. Not only are the two polar opposites musically but aesthetically too. Compare the ARTPOP cover to all of Lana's and Swine fest, SXSW and ArtRAVE outfits to Lana's bland attire. I don't know about you but I see 0 similarities.

Holla, die Waldfee.
I bet you will curse the whole day, when Ulraviolence will sell as much as BTD.

I think Lana is talking about literal style. There was a time in Brazil when Gaga looked like a carbon copy of Lana.
And wait Superficial references and stock word bank? I'm sorry Lana doesn't subscribe to the vocabulary library that includes "ear condom" and "ro ma ro ma ma." Lana's artistry doesn't need extravagant explanations and dresses but that doesn't make her boring or bland.
She fancies herself a deep, dramatic poetess of our times but stays acting like just another salty, passive-aggressive chick who has the audacity (and short-sightedness) to use her art as a platform to blast another artist. Definition of wack.

I actually Lana's music, but this description is spot on.

If that ever happened, we'd all be dead by then anyway, so I would not be able to 'curse' the day when a forgotten singer's album sells 5 million. Also, I don't value my life based on the commercial success of pop stars I like/dislike. You should try that sometime, rather than replying to my comment about style with an unlikely hypothetical about commercial success.

Nothing I mentioned in my comment was positive towards Gaga. Where did you get that impression? Nonetheless, making nonsensical sounds like 'ro ma ro ma ma' work in a song is what makes Gaga interesting, and made Bad Romance one of the most critically acclaimed songs of 2009. 'Ear condom' is actually quite a clever lyric, just because you unjustifiably find it crude doesn't take away from the symbolism and the fact it successfully shades an entire denomination of Christianity for something they condemn.

I was not criticizing that. I was criticizing the monotony and repetition - that's what makes it bland.
This is the only thing I can find from Brazil which looks remotely like Lana, and it is nowhere near a 'carbon copy'. This was one time and simply her waving to her fans on a balcony, not a publicized event Gaga clearly never stole Lana's style. Her outfits on the tour at the time were nothing like Lana's, and the outfits from her subsequent album era which people worldwide saw were nothing like Lana's.

I see you sometimes at SYG, I'll remind you then, when it's going to happen.

Not you defending ear condom and her nonsensical lyric garbage. I'm sorry that you feel that word trash makes her interesting while actual real words and phrases are "word stock." I never actually said that it was crude, it's just plain ridiculous and elementary. But please write another essay analyzing "ear condom."
Btw there's a pics of gaga wearing a two piece denim outfit with dyed brown hair where she looks like lana. That's the style I was talking about.

Oh, I see. You're just another pretentious Lana stan who talks about 'real music!!111!111!' as if Lana is superior to her pop peers. You might also wanna look up what an essay is
Word stock? I said stock words. As in she has a set of words and phrase that she uses repeatedly.
What's the benefit of using 'real words and phrases' if you're not going to show emotional variation or genuine human expression? I'd rather someone used 'nonsensical lyric garbage' to express their emotion and STILL make a great, accessible pop song than someone use the same 'real words and phrases' over and over again to create a basic middle-of-the-road pop song which uses identical instrumentation and chord progressions to most of her other songs. See: the entire paradise EP and the second half of Born To Die, and most of the Ultraviolence snippets excluding West Coast and Brooklyn Baby, both of which still tread in that territory. Lord help you if you ever tried to get into experimental music.
Also, if you're gonna imply someone wore a certain outfit, you should at least post receipts.
