We value gameplay/controls/innovation over graphics. I'd rather Nintendo reveal several great new games where the main characters look like cartoons than ONE good game with a really realistic-looking main character.

Sony and Xbox can say the same exact thing, but they also have the bonus of being able to deliver stunning graphics with ease.

You seem to think sequels and innovation are mutually exclusive, which obviously isn't the case. While certain series haven't grown much (not just for Nintendo obviously, but on all consoles), Nintendo can create an innovative and critically-acclaimed sequel/entry in a flagship series, like Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario 3D World. Just because the same characters are onscreen doesn't mean a game lacks innovation.

If Sony is the Queen then what does that make Nintendo? at least the Uncharted series has had consistent acclaim, with 4 shaping up to be the best one.

Why would I be perched? I literally do not care about the Wii U... it's already a signed, sealed and delivered failure. Mario Kart 8 is cute but not at all worth the $330 they're asking. I'll wait until my younger cousins get the bundle for Xmas

This is true. Especially when you find out they are looking to Western games for inspiration now. They are so concerned with having commercial success... I miss the old Squaresoft so bad!!!!!!
