Her voice has always been on point, but she's been increasingly-over singing her songs this era. None of the acoustic performances compare to the beautiful melodies and nuances she brings out in the songs in these performances:
ARTPOP instrumental is pretty good. Still dated, and still not worthy of being on one album. But the quality of the songs would have been improved with better lyrics and better melodies/vocals. The funny part is she is a good songwriter but apparently she chose to nix the ones with good material. ARTPOP was a poor theme to go with him. I hope she handles her criticisms by giving people something to talk about - something that justifies her material without spoken explanations.
Dead at a typical song on ARTPOP going like this:
1) EDM instrumental from 2011, check
2) Husky vocals, check
3) Random lyrics thrown together: "I am the form of Picasso I am used to. I'm bleeding on this canvas, for you. In depth, the spade, Warhol we made. Critics critic so mean because I am art seen. Shampoo, lotion, music is a love potion." check.

I think we are just lost because Gaga used to spoil us so much with a shitload of material, and now we barly get 2 music video's for an era that is 10 months deep
