I mean Fingerprints, Lost, One of the Boys, Self Inflicted, I'm Still Breathing, were all masterpieces.
I totally believed Katy experienced all those things.
Whereas with TD, and songs like Last Friday Night (I would be lying if I said Katy was believable as the mischievous party girl who sang the song), California Gurls, ET and Firework (basically her biggest songs) you can just tell they were engineered in a pop music lab, perfected for radio and iTunes and noting more. Except for Teenage Dream (the song) which is quite possibly the best pop song ever written in the history of pop music both lyrically and melody wise.
