And like I said, it's not even fully about seniority/Korean culture. It's weird behaviour because of other things I mentioned, such as 2NE1 not even hugging as a group, let alone some random person hugging someone not known for skinship. Do you hug random people? It's odd but totally OTT. I'm only giving rational 2c imo, but ya'll are looking for something more than it is.
It was awkward and weird for a culture that prides itself on formalness, politeness and being socially timid first and foremost. The end. It's not that big of a deal. You're giving what KNetz post WAY too much power over what you think
