That's why I've said this whole time, I'm only for this idea if they include both first and see how well it kicks off.
I'm against the idea if they remove the headphone jack before seeing if the lighting headphones work in their favour. If third-party developers jump on board the whole "digital audio" bandwagon that Apple would create (you know it's coming

) then it might become the norm as well.
Nearly every stereo has either a classic or lightning iPhone dock. I'm sure headphones would support it as well. Just unclick the headphone jack at the base of the headphone port and click on a lighting adaptor.
If it provides better audio, watch the hipsters run.
