I heard Chris 3 times on radio within 30 minutes at the Barbershop.
"Love More", "Show Me", and "It Won't Stop". Urban radio is so stale. Drake, Chris, Wayne, Nicki, and the occasional white person.
I bet it's been like 5 years since the last time the Top 10 was filled with 0 of them.

But where are the numbers? Why have his albums constantly flopped since? Why isn't Loyal 4xp yet?
For the last 5 years you could turn on the radio and hear Pitbul at any given time, what does that mean? Lol.

If not Loyal, then Show Me. If not Show Me, then It Won't Stop (even though that's finally kind of died down)

It's crazy the amount of effort it took for Shakira to sell a measly 500k. She went on The Voice, worked with the biggest hitmakers, got a Target deal with TV commercials including @ the Grammys, collabed with Rihanna in a lesbo video, got a bunch of commercials for her songs separate from Target, performed everywhere, and God knows what else.

I hope Eleanor Rigby smashes; I want to see Jessica Chastain get her third nomination at the Academy Awards. The whole season seems so far away.

Rihanna is considered kinda ghetto in Barbados. Like people say she lacks "broughtupsy".

Because of his behavior, because of pushbacks, because he's getting in trouble all the time, lack of promo, etc. FAME still won a Grammy
And let's not compare PITBULL to Chris Brown. Even IF he had white people behind him, he would NEVER be a Pit Bull/Flo Rida/only loved by white people and payed complete dust by black people.
Obviously his RAP and Urban smashes aren't going to be as big as they could without Pop supporting him but he's still doing just fine

It's unrealistic to expect any songs on Urban Radio to be 4x Platinum, or even Gold at this point.
We already established that audience doesn't buy music legally.

Yeah you're right. It's just wasted potential IMO. We haven't had a true male crossover superstar in soo long and when one finally appears with the ability to fill that role, he ducks up. Lol

That's not shocking.
Caribbean people are kinda conservative in in regards to certain things.

Pop radio has probably had enough of Chris, but whatever type of success Chris has gotten has proven that he has been forgiven to an extent. He won a Grammy and VMAs, got top 10 hits and his first #1 album all after that Rihanna incident. His pop superstar status was ruined, but eventually that was going to go away anyway since pop audiences is as fickle as can be. At least he has outlasted Bobby Brown, Tevin Campbell and others who were either at the top or on their way to pop superstar status before hitting rock bottom completely.

If it wasn't for Chris and his version. The song wouldn't have even been a hit and you probably wouldn't even know it.
