Actually no.
I don't get paid to teach you so I'm gonna keep it short. Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Venus was originally the Roman goddess of the garden. When Roman culture spread, the native gods of the Romans mingled with local culture and religion wherever they conquered. Venus, a minor Roman Goddess associated with gardens was identified with Aphrodite. They have many similarities but Aphrodite has been around longer and she is the goddess of love beauty and sexuality while Venus is also the goddess of vegetation, fertility, and the patroness of prostitutes. The mythos of both are very similar but they ARE completely different entities, that meant different things to their respective patron civilizations. In short I'm right, you're wrong(per usual) and you'd be wise to think twice the next time you try to clock me from an intellectual standpoint because you ain't winning.
