I agree, I don't think there can be at this point. I see her working all the way up through her next album. She really should just wait a long while to tour for her next album like she did with BTW. There's no need to rush between tours just because you release an album.

I agree. But I think they just wanted to end the tour (and the era) real quick.

Me too She's one of the only artists that I consistently am thirsty for new music no matter how good her music is. Even after TFM I just wanted more and more!
In terms of her career, it'd probably be best if she waited for maternity leave to take a few years out to study her craft, and perhaps release the inevitable stripped back 'Stefani' record during her pregnancy so she can remain active without the intensity. Realistically she won't want to disappear, just dial it back to prioritise personal life. That'll also allow her to 'tour' - if she wants - on a small scale in clubs/theatres/concert halls etc.
However, she's only 28 and strikes me as a traditional girl who will get married first...and in turn, wait before getting married to be sure they're the right one.
I don't think breaks will do her many favours now. She's going to have coverage over the next year anyway because she's touring and travelling into space. May as well capitalise on the attention and damage control after ARTPOP.
