When you went into a heroic it was pretty much expected that you would have wipes. Many. But people stuck with it because at the time you had to manually fly to each instance to participate, so it you quit after a wipe, you just wasted a ton of time.
Nowadays whole groups will quit if you even wipe once. |
Ugh, Karazhan looked so fun, especially the whole Wizard of Oz part.
I ran it with a PUG once, but it was a disorganized mess and we didn't get very far.
And yeah, that's all thanks to the dungeon finder.
