He hit me and it felt like a kiss
I can hear violins, violins
Give me all of that ultraviolence
He used to call me poison
Like I was poison ivy
I could have died right there
Cause he was right beside me
Jim raised me up
He hurt me but it felt like true love
Jim taught me that
Loving him was never enough
This is ultraviolence
Ultraviolence
Ultraviolence
Ultraviolence

Pretty Hurts hasn't been sent to radio in the US yet. Feel free to start mocking the Hive next Tuesday.
Blow would flop. The best and catchiest parts of the song would be edited out. Also pop wouldn't touch it because it's too slow. If Birthday can't take off neither can Blow.
I think Pretty Hurts could've peaked in the top 15 if she had performed it at the BBMAs.
Mine would work a single but it would basically be a Drake song. That slow part at the beginning where it's just Beyonce singing would have to be cut out. But again, pop might not touch it.
Same with a reworked version of ***Flawless. Rhythmic and Urban would be the only formats playing it.

Literally the day after BEYONCÉ came out, when "Blow" was planned as the lead single, I heard it played completely unedited on a major pop radio station in Atlanta.

Her next album will struggle. Her hit making power is long gone. And this time she had Superbowl and a tour and a suprise release that helped her sell that much the first week. But the struggle will be real next time.
