Most. Boring. Scene. Ever. And completely pointless. I almost slipped into a coma.

Tyrion is so overused, there are few times I ever remember being bored by a scene, but each time it's been one of his. They need to use him more sparingly and poignantly.

That entire jail scene could have been handled much better. I guess they wanted to show Tyrion and Jaime coping with the fact that the battle was about to start, but they could have written a monologue/story for them to talk about which was MUCH more concise and relevant, that was the worst thing I've seen on the show since they ruined Dany's story in late Season 2.

okay, AGREE X10000 when I rewatched the episode I skipped that whole story about the cousin like how is that even relevant someone plz tell me??

They just like giving screentime to Jaime and Tyrion. They have great chemistry together and gives them more tapes to send for Emmy consideration (though Coster-Waldau will never get nominated since they snubbed his amazing work last season).

It's not really that relevant to the point that George wanted to get accross and it could have DEFINITELY been shorter, at least to give further time to Oberyn's final moments, Sansa's development, perhaps show her dying her hair or Bran who has been off the show since ep like two

They for surehave sometimes to stretch a little bit, because of budget costs. Imagine the money it costs when the widlings with their Giants will storm the castle, seems pretty big and expensive.

Whom should get the nomination then (should any female from the show make it in supporting)? Definitely not Clarke after the past episode despite getting a deserved Emmy nom last year. Michelle Fairley is gone and they are sorely underusing Ygritte. Lena's been snubbed for years so I doubt they'll ever like her and Maisie hasn't really had meaty scenes. Natalie Dormer would be a cute nomination too.

I think you have her confused with Emilia Clarke. Sophie nails every aspect of her character and most importantly understands Sansa. it's like Sansa comes to life from the page. they nailed her casting. her subtlety, the way she delivers her sarcastic lines, the way she has to keep it together, but still shows you with her eyes that she is broken inside >> your fave

this new episode was sensational and the best of the season. i knew what was going to happen with Oberyn and it only made me more nervous and tense lol, i legit had goosebumps all over my body waiting for the... end. and BANG SPLASH bye.

There wasn't really anything wrong with her acting, she's said in an interview that this is the first time she as a reader of the books (so she knows her stuff) disagreed with something Dany did, so there was a bit of a disconnect in the first place, and the character on the show lacked the backstory of knowing about her 2 betrayals since they didn't bother keeping that in when they raped her S2 storyline, so any flatness about that Jorah/Dany scene can be blamed on external forces, but even so, I personally did not feel like there were any pressing issues with it.

If you want to say Clarke's acting isn't Emmy worthy then fine, that's a position withing the realm of reaonableness, but those people in here acting like she's doing legitimately BAD acting are idiots.

Sophie Turner isn't awful, but she sure as hell isn't Emmy material. The damn delusion.

I agree completely with your picks. Sophie has been amazing this season. She always did a great job portraying Sansa but this season she's even better.
