Nicole and Cheryl both nearly released the song at the same time but seeing the promo lined up for Cheryl makes me wonder about Nicole.

Yeah, her release date is not good but she will still get that #1 and i don't think she'll fall from top 10 that quick since she has this promo yet i think Nicole will place somewhere in top 5 and fall quickly.

It's too early to judge. Maybe it'll become a radio hit and the video might be amazing and keep it successful. Tbh I'd rather have it at #1 and #10 next week that 4 weeks in top 10 without #1 lol

And I think Cheryl will debut with around -100k copies sold in the first week but will fall quickly too, I don't see it having longevity.

Yeah, i also talked based on what we have now. I hope everything goes well. And I also don't think Cheryl's single will do good worldwide but i think she will definetely sell more than 100k in it's first week in UK and will do good for some time.

Nicole does not have the star power to sell the single by her name alone. Just give it time to receive airplay, debut the video, perform it and then im sure it will smash.

She could easily perform the song just once on a TV show in some of the bigger or richer countries and it would easily do well.

Someone already mentioned it, but the Philippines thing is disappointing to me. Nicole should have made more of an effort to connect to Filipinos, but I guess her father abandoned her so there is no connection.
