I realized that after years of getting sim points and buying store items that I can just go on tumblr or so to get the items. I think I spent over $200 in the Sims Store, kinda embarrassing.
Oh my god, playing this game on a computer that can handle it makes the game so much more enjoyable (of course). I hope requirements are lowered for sims 4. My laptop cannot handle the sims 3! And I'd love for there to be no rabbit holes, but I guess that would slow the game.
Hopefully the Sims 4 offers a fresh spin on the base game. Idk if I'll buy it yet or not
Obsessed with a new town on Sims 2. I downloaded a neighbourhood and a ton of houses and have made a bunch of families and customised their skills/hobbies/careers/relationships etc and given every sim backstories. I'm going to start playing with all of them and working on more of a storytelling element and see what they do (largely through free will) to develop the story. I'm such a saddo
I know this is crazy considering TS4 isn't even released yet but, I hope they really make TS5 super HD and amazing. They can say TS4 is the way it is because of the art style, but we all know what it really is. I don't want them holding back for people with 10 year old computers. Even me.

I'm lucky I'm quite creative tbh. That mixed with InSimenator meant it only took me 6 hours to set everything up (I take forever to make Sims, even with minimal customisation options ). But I like what I've done with them so much that I don't want to start playing their lives

That's pretty neat though. When you have a lot of free time it's fun to see what you can do with your sims. Nice to see someone else who's creative with them.

Haha yeah I just finished my exams yesterday so I have a summer ahead of me. I have a ton of plans but for all of those days out there's plenty of boring days in and I figured this is the perfect way to kill that relaxing time.
The mechanics of The Sims 2 is still impressive 10 years on, like even without mods when left to their own devices I still find it interesting what they do on free will
