Nicki definitely has some respect from the hip-hop community at least. I would say she is more respected than Katy is although obviously that's not really relevant. I was just laughing off the fact that someone would really say a Nicki/Katy collab would be legendary just because Katy is the current pop hitmaker of the moment. By that logic, Fly with Rihanna is also legendary. It's just ridiculous.
I mean I'm sure Katy stans would be excited about the collab - as they should be. Things like that are always exciting for stans. I just personally don't see it working.

And um, who are you to say whether or not I'm a fan? I've purchased everything album Nicki has put out to date. So not sure why you're trying to tell others that I'm not a fan when it's totally incorrect. Me stanning for Gaga has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I can and do like/support other artists as well. Yes, I'm far from Katy's biggest fan and that's obvious. However I'm honestly being objective when I say I don't see the collaboration working between the two of them. I'm not the only one that feels that way.
