While she is not an indie girl, you are right about the fact that she is not pushing it. It is obvious but that is obvious for quite some time now, since she is not pushing herself on TV or radio for one and a half years now. Imagine what pop girls would have done if their record started selling in the States like hers. They would be all over, milking the album with obvious single choices.
And some people here have stated she will open up with 200k and remain huge in the UK and the rest of Europe despite she has been away from the public eye here for sooo long. In the current sales climate you can only have this success as an established band like Coldplay or you don't stop promoting yourself like a mad woman.
